Daily Connect (Child Care) App Reviews

We use this as part of our daycares system. Love the updates during the day on activities and especially love the pictures. Like the option to send a message to the care provider during the day without having to call. Only downsides are the lack of updates when refreshing and when it sends you back to the home page when you expand an entry.

Great for tracking information throughout the day and communicating updates between caregivers! Love the multiple views for reviewing data. Also love ability to enter activities and mood in addition to basics of eating and sleeping. Uploading pics is also wonderful for sharing experiences across caregivers!! Wish naps/nighttime sleep could be logged separately. Also wish medication taken daily could be selected from a drop down list instead of entered each time. Would also love to be able to upload videos. But, overall, would highly recommend the app!!

This app is excellent for both caregivers or parents. I love that you share access with multiple people which makes it easier to know whats going all of the time. It helps keep me organized and I never have to worry when I last fed or changed a diaper and I can keep an eye on trends.

As a home Childcare provider Ive found this app to be very useful and inexpensive to share information with parents about the childs day. Love the instant syncing. Only bad part is it can be time consuming. If I am doing something with a group of kids- like eating or playing outside - it would be great to be able to make a mass notation or large group one. Same for photos. If I take a photo of several kids Id like to mark it as shareable with multiple parents. I couldnt imagine using this for 15+ kids at a time and even with 6-8 under 4 yrs old it takes a lot of time. The parents love it to- esp since they can add grandparents and family so they all keep in touch! Ive also noticed that with the iphone 6 I cant see what title Im giving pictures- its a sizing issue. So if I make a mistake or autocorrect does I dont see it until Ive saved it and cant seem to easily fix it. Would also love to be able to add videos!!!

Love this app. As a first time mom, it has brought a sense of relief and comfort seeing how my daughters day is progressing and how her time is spent learning, socializing and having fun. And the ability to actually see her, with pictures, is so fun! Gives me something to look forward to everyday. Its also a great way to stay connected to staff and know whats happening at our Center. So glad our center uses this!!

It makes me smile to see pictures of my daughter while she is at school.

Love this app. Great for following while at daycare and continuing to track at home. Love the daily emails sent to caregivers listed. Great way to keep the grandparents in the loop with daily pictures and activities.

I really like this app. I love how I can know how the day went and communicate with the daycare at any time. Great App, every day care should use it. Once you learn it, it take no time to update and keep up with it.

This is a really easy to use app. I have been a babysitter/ nanny for 10 years. In addition to the daily logging features, I love being able to keep notes on each child in one easily accessible place. And when I have to give meds, parents can see that it was administered at the right time. It really helps me stay on point and stay accountable.

It is a nearly perfect app for convenience to track your childs daily activities. Im a live in nanny and found this app about 2 years ago when the family i have been living with had their 3rd child. Now Im a share-nanny (nanny for 2 families) so i have 7 kiddos now. This app is still used daily (week days).

This app is wonderful. My daycare person uses this and I get automatic updates! I keep well informed on my kiddo and its super easy to use. I had a question about the app so I went on their Facebook page and it took just a couple minutes for someone to answer me. I cant think of one thing I would change! Love it!!

If your daycare provider uses this app, you should have it as well. Best app ever, especially for new parents leaving their child for the first time. Get it, you will agree

This app is fantastic! At our previous day care, we had no way to see what our child was doing, eating, playing, etc. As a new parent, I craved that transparency on the part of the day care. To see the smile on your childs face, seeing them try and like a new food, try going potty by themselves, practice walking, etc. helps you feel connected to them when you cant be there. Not only can I see my child having fun and learning but I can also easily share photos with family and friends and print the great ones!! I can also easily send and receive messages from the classroom in case of sickness or issues with my child. Again helping me feel always connected and in time to what my child is doing daily! Thank you Daily Connect for easing my fears and anxiety about having to leave my child at day care and for letting me be connected and involved daily!!

I absolutely love this app. I first used it as a daycare provider and continue to use it as a first time parent. I love having an easy place to keep track of diapers and nursing! I can also add information from doctors appointments as well as milestones- all in one place. A definite must have!

Having this documentation makes the family I nanny for feel so much more connected to their little one. It also helps me keep track of how long he sleeps, when he eats, etc. I would hate to have to fill this out in paper form everyday. Having it on my phone is so easy. I like that the labels are customizable too.

I am a new mom who has just returned to work. This app keeps me sane! I love getting updates throughout the day, including photos of my baby smiling and having fun. Love it and highly recommend it if your daycare center offers it.

I love being able to see what my baby is doing throughout the day at daycare. It helps me prepare for the end of the day by knowing how much he should probably eat and sleep for the rest of the day once I pick him up. Also, its not necessary to spend the time going over the daily document when I go to pick him up. I also love that I can communicate with daycare during the day, like if I need to let them know he is being picked up early, etc. Wonderful, wonderful app! I am so thankful for it and so glad my kids daycare uses it!

Our childrens school uses this and we love it. Its convenient way to track and share all of the daily information about our children. The message function is especially convenient when their teachers need to reach us or vise versa during the day. Well worth the reasonable cost to download.

Great lifesaver. Takes the guess work out of keeping track with your childs development. I took one star off because it doesnt work as smoothly on the Apple Watch. Its very glitchy on the watch. Other than that, awesome!

This app is user friendly. Seeing what your child/grandchild is doing during the day helps you understand how their day went in real time. Having open communication with your daycare is essential.
